I want to meet Kelly Clarkson. Saw her live last August, and I just really want to meet her in person.
I want to be a TWLOHA intern (ideally next summer).
I want to live in San Francisco. This WILL happen in Fall 2015. It will.
I want to meet Beth Moore. All of her books have been so transformative for me, and when I was at Mercy and watched so many of her series, I loved it. I would love to be able to spend time nurturing a mentor relationship with her. Granted, she’s so busy traveling and speaking that that would never happen, but I would love it if it did.
I want to go to Atlants Resort in the Bahamas. I’ve wanted to go there ever since I watched Holiday in the Sun with Mary-Kate and Ashley way back when. That water slide looks freaking incredible.
I want to give a TED talk. I think that would be nearly one of the coolest things ever - to be able to say, “Oh hey, I just gave a TED talk.”
I want to meet Joannie Rochette, Canadian Olympic Bronze Medalist in Singles Figure Skating, from the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. She’s an incredible figure skater, and her dedication to the sport is incredible.
Her mother flew out to Vancouver to watch her daughter skate, and died of a heart attack before Joannie was supposed to skate. She would have had valid reason not to skate. Instead, Joannie decided to dedicate her skating to her mother and skated to make her mother proud. She ended up winning the bronze medal and at her mother’s funeral, she hung it on the casket for quite some time.
Now, she’s a spokesperson for a heart health program, and she’s worked with World Vision.
I want to see the Freedom Tower in NYC/it’s progress in construction.
I want to write three books.
I want to work with Rachel Lloyd, founder of GEMS.
